Rotonda is situated near the Cape Haze peninsular on Florida's Gulf of Mexico coastline between the main cities of Sarasota to the north and Fort Myers to the south around 40 miles in either direction. Both of these resorts has an airport servicing flights from the majority of the major American airlines as well as providing on-site car rental facilities from major car rental agencies such as Alamo & Dollar. The nearest airport for direct BA transatlantic flights is Tampa. Rotonda is part of a nature conservation area that provides an ideal ambience and safe environment to combine relaxation from the rigors and stresses of everyday life with the opportunity to enjoy the numerous recreational pursuits and leisure activities on offer. Within easy reach and a short driving distance from the villa is the Gulf of Mexico offering mile upon mile of golden sandy beaches and the opportunity to watch the local wildlife including dolphins in their natural habitat. Boat, jet ski and kayak are available for hire from local marinas and to cater for the golfing enthusiast there are 5 local golf courses in close proximity to the villa which are available to non-members at reasonable rates - you may contact us for more details. The district is also served by a variety of supermarkets and stores. Take the opportunity to dolphin watch whilst dining in one of the many restaurants that overlook the Gulf coast and Intracoastal waterway which provide a selection of good food at reasonable prices. Set in a golfing community Rotonda is very popular with people of all ages from all walks of life due to the friendly and welcoming nature of the neighborhood combined with the safe, peaceful and relaxing ambience that the surrounding environment has to offer. It is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the combination of leisure and recreation at your own pace in a wonderful setting. You won't want to go home!
The villa is situated in a quiet, serene and safe residential district with a scenic view overlooking a waterway. The property is detached with a south facing heated pool in an extended screened enclosure with a covered lanai. The pool area has been extended to provide additional space immediately adjacent to the pool to accommodate patio furniture for sunbathing and dining al fresco. It is air conditioned throughout with the added benefit of ceiling fans in every room. In addition, the villa is a state registered property and subject to annual inspection by the local authorities for license renewal to ensure that safety standards are met. It is maintained to a high standard of décor, furnishing and cleanliness. In general terms, the villa has been designed to accommodate up to 6 people in comfort and comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining and lounge area, laundry room and double garage covering over 2000 square feet in total. The kitchen has a breakfast nook and comes equipped with a full range of equipment including cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The kitchen and bathrooms have recently been re-tiled. Duvets, bed linen and towelling are provided for each bedroom and bathroom. The pool and surrounding lawns are serviced and maintained on a regular basis by a local management agency who are also engaged by the owners to provide a first class 24/7 service to all guests to ensure that their comfort, welfare and needs are met.
The villa is ideally placed for visiting the fashionable districts of Venice, Siesta & Longboat Keys, Naples and the islands of Captiva, Sanibel & Marco which are also well known for the popular past-time of shell collecting. All of these resorts lay on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, offer numerous shopping malls, museums, first class restaurants, state parks etc and are within reasonable driving distance. Further to the north are the theme parks and tourist attractions at Tampa (2 hours) and Orlando (3 hours) whilst to the south there is the Everglades National Park (2 hours) near Naples.
